A truly stunning vintage English sterling silver vinaigrette from a local La Jolla estate. Circa 1860s, the silver engraving is amazing.

Wonderful flower and leaf pattern with a lovely little circle on which to engrave your initial. It has the anchor hallmark with the initials CWSD.

Vinaigrette is engraved on front and back panels.

It has a nice weight. Very good condition. No dents or splits. Both the main box hinge and the grill hinge are perfect with no play.

The grill is beautiful with gorgeous cut out swirl motif.

Original mercury gilding is in very fine condition. It measures 1 5-8' tall by 1' wide with a lovely bale to suspend it from your favorite antique chain.
