Antique vintage solid silver we belive this to be by joseph taylor vinaigrette silver box in excellant condition dated 1819 Birmingham:
The vinaigrette measures aprox 21mm x 15mm x 8 mm -these measurements are taken at the widest points-
It is simply yet tastefully decorated with leaf pattern foligage X with dotted and machine cut borders on the back.

This has a beautifully pierced grate of which looks like flower petals see pictures:
It is oblong shaped and has two purse like mock handles giving the impression of a small purse or bag X it is in excellant condition for age ~ minor usage marks on outside consistent with use over the years:
No dents or dings the grate, hinges all in excellant condition.
